Greek club want Kaita on loan

Greek club Iraklis have opened discussions with the Ukrainian club of Nigeria international Sani Kaita over a loan move for the player this winter

Iraklis president, Giannis Takis, told Greek l radio station that his club have opened talks with Metalist Kharkiv for Kaita to join his team in January till the end of the season

He has also been shipped on loan to several clubs in Russia since he joined Monaco in 2008.

In the summer, Kaita, 23, turned down several interests in Greece for fear of a hate backlash by the fans after his sensational red card in a 2010 World Cup match against the Greeks.

Instead, the former Kano Pillars star chose to join Metalist and even featured in a couple of Europa League matches for the top Ukrainian side.
