Some of the states affec-ted are, Plateau, Abia, Bayelsa, Oyo, Anambra, Enugu, Osun, Lagos, Delta, Kwara, Ebonyi and Ogun.

However, in a swift reaction to the develop-ment the National Chair-man of the party Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, warned officials involv-ed in the ongoing electo-ral process in the party to ensure they conduct their affairs as continued in the partys guidelines.

Dr Nwodo, in a state-ment signed by his Media Assistant, Ike Abonyi, said that the National Working Committee, (NWC) frowns on any action either by officials or members that ran counter to the guidelines provided by the Party.

The national chairman had on Wednesday announced the dedication of a telephone number 08060095007 to welcome views and complaints from members across the country on the on-going intra-Party election processes.

On Thursday barely 24 hours after installing the telephone lines, Dr. Nwodo had read and reacted to over 25 sms text messages on the election across the country.

The statement reiterated Dr Nwodo’s determination to ensure that internal democracy was allowed to prevail in the party by ensuring that a level playing ground is extended to all aspirants in the party.
