Elections held only in Southern Kaduna
In kaduna, the northern part of Nigeria, the election into the n/assembly held only in the southern part of kaduna. To this effect, already constituted legislation says that, NYSC are to be PO’S, STUDENTS to be APO’S and FCE to be PC’S. But, in Kauru L.G.A, Kaduna today was a mess.
The INEC officials rejected students and recruited their fellow aspirants into both the PC’S, PO’S and even the APO’S.
Students shortlisted from ABU-ZARIA were sent back in the middle of the night. Please vanguard, try and find out whether they had election or not.

Ballot paper arrive late in Imo
In most parts of Imo state ballot materials and INEC officials arrived late,
keeping voters wondering if the election will hold at all
In Ezinihitte LGA, Ahiazu Mbaise and Aboh Mbaise LGA respectively materials got
to some units as late as 12.35 pm four hours behind the stipulated time.
In Udo/Obizi Ward where I voted election materials reached Obizi 12pm, Umuofo
Udo unit 12.23pm and Uhuala Udo 12.37pm respectively. Accreditation of voters
started by 1.20pm after the INEC officials took time to settle down and erect
their voting box. But security was tight as men
of the police and other agencies
were on hand to maintain the peace.
The Traditional Ruler of the Udo Community Eze Mathew Ukeje and political
leaders in the town expressed dismay at the development and advised INEC EO for
the Local Governement to make proper arrangement for coming elections.
Elections are still going on as at the time of filling this report

Peaceful electionsin Benin
In the history of election in Nigeria, this happens to be the only election that has be conducted so peacefully. I want to say that credibility is finally and gradually creeping into the electoral system in Nigeria. Am happy I participated and witnessed the election in Edo state today. Nigerians should all come out in mass in the presidential election to vote for their desired candidate and enjoy what election really is for the first in Nigeria. Long live Nigeria and its people.

Amend voting time
Pls. kindly inform the authorities to extent voting time based on the fact that accreditation did not start on time. In some places , voters were disfranchised by officers of INEC when they closed voting in Abuja . Rose – Abuja
