FG Redeploys 16 Permanent Secretaries
Latest Politics Saturday, March 24th, 2012PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has approved the posting of 16 federal permanent secretaries.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Isa Bello Sali, who made the announcement in Abuja, gave the names of the approved posted permanent secretaries as Alhaji Sheidu Ozigis, who is with the Ministry of Interior, now posted to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs; Prof. Nicholas Damachi, with the Ministry of Education, now posted to the Ministry of Defence; and E. I. Ogbile posted from Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development to State House.
Also, Mr. Linus Awute who is with the Ministry of Defence has been posted to the Ministry of Interior while Dr. Ben Ibe has been posted from Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation to the Ministry of Education. Mrs. Ibukun A. Odusote who is with Power Ministry has been posted to Environment Ministry, Anthony Ozidinobi has been posted from the Ministry of Labour and Productivity to the Federal Capital Territory. Dr. Dere Awosika, who is with the Ministry of Science and Technology, has been posted to Power Ministry, Alhaji Mohammed Bashar has been posted from Environment Ministry to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Common Services Office).
The redeployment also shows that Alhaji I.G. Mahe, who is with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Political Affairs Office), has been posted to the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mrs. Rabi Jimeta, who is with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties), now posted to the Ministry of Science and Technology; Alhaji Atiku Kigo posted from Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Management Services Office),
Dr. Tunji Olaopa of the State House, posted to the Ministry of Labour and Productivity, Mrs. A. M. Daniel-Nwaobia posted from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Economic Affairs Office) to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation.
It was observed that Alhaji Aliyu Isma’ila Numan and Mr. Ossi George Afamefuna have both been newly appointed to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Political/Economic Affairs Office) and (Special Duties) respectively.
According to a statement by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, Head of Service, Mr. Tope Ajakaiye, the Head of Service has directed that all handing and taking over formalities be completed on or before Friday, 30th March.
