COVID-19: Pray not to get infected – FG warns Nigerians

By John Owen Nwachukwu

The Federal Government has warned Nigerians that the only way not to get infected by the deadly coronavirus disease was to obey the rules laid down by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this during the daily press briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Thursday.

He warned that many people were not obeying the COVID-19 lockdown.

He said, “Listening to what the NCDC is saying is the only medicine for COVID-19

“Pray not to get infected. And the only way not to get infected is to follow what the NCDC is saying.

“Many people are not obeying the COVID-19 guidelines. Testing positive to COVID-19 is not a death sentence.”
