Arsenal sign Nigeria’s whiz kid, Nefeye Osazee

By afolabi

English football giant, Arsenal football club, have signed highly-rated Nigerian football wonder kid, Nefeye Osazee.

Osazee penned a two-year deal with the gunners and will represent the academy over this period.

Nefeye who moved to London in 2002 was also scouted and wanted by Chelsea Football Club.

He, however, chose the north London side as he planned to follow in the steps of his role model Thierry Henry.

His trial with the Gunners saw him bag 10 goals in 9 matches, making him very lethal in front of goal. Little wonder why he was sought after by two of the biggest clubs in England.

Nefeye started his footballing sojourn in Nigeria at the age of 6 with City Sports School. Reacting to his new deal with Arsenal, Nefeye expressed gratitude to his parents for the sacrifices they made in ensuring his dream came through.
