Falcons in slim Cameroon win

Nigeria’s Super Falcons beat Cameroon 2-1 but were left contemplating the prospect of a compromised chance to reach the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Perpetua Nkwocha converted a penalty just past the hour, and Eberechi Oparanozie squeezed in a second with 6 minutes to go as the Falcons labored to grab a late two-goal lead.

But, just like the All Africa Games qualifier against Ghana, a horrific defensive mix-up saw Osinachi Ohale poke the ball past Precious Dede to give Cameroon a precious away goal.
