Enyeama for Lille return

Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama will return to Ligue 1 side, Lille Olympique Sporting Club at the end of the 2012/13 season.
The 30-year-old joined Israeli club, Maccabi Tel Aviv on loan at the start of the season but has now exclusively revealed to supersport.com that there will be no renewal of his loan spell at the “Yellows.”
“I still have two years left on my contract so as a matter of obligation, I must return to Lille,” he said.
Enyeama endured a torrid time during his first season at Lille where he failed to make even a single start in Ligue 1 as Mickaël Landreau held on to the number one jersey.
“People talk a lot about that and for me, it is not necessary because only one person can play in goal at any particular game.
“Is Landreau better than me? Am I a better keeper? I will not answer that but people also fail to realise that Landreau was at the club long before I arrived.
“Since the coach chose to play him ahead of me, that should have been respected,” he said.
Landreau has since left Lille for the Corsican club, Bastia but Enyeama does not see that as confirmation that he will walk straight into the club’s first-team upon his return at the end of the season.
“There is a keeper playing at Lille at present so Landreau leaving does not mean I will just walk straight into the Lyon first-team.”
“My future still needs to be sorted out and until June, July or August, I won’t know if I will be playing in England, Spain, Italy or even remain in Israel. Only God knows,” he said.
