NIGERIA goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama who had his 11-game clean sheet tarnished last weekend on Sunday conceded another goal as his side, Lille beat mid-table Batia in French Ligue one.
As early as the third minute of the game, Enyeama conceded his first goal at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy since October when Bastia’s Ludovic Genest beat him from close range
However, former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou scored twice as Lille came from behind to beat Bastia and stay in touch with the Ligue 1 pacesetters PSG.
The Ivory Coast international showed quick feet to find space and slot home the equaliser, then curled in a sublime finish from the edge of the box.
The result saw Lille move four points behind leaders Paris St-Germain.
The 2010-11 champions boast the most miserly defence in the French top flight with Genest’s goal only the sixth they have conceded thanks to Enyeama heroics.
Their Kalou-inspired recovery saw them tighten their grip on third spot, while Bastia, whom Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien counts among his former clubs, remain 13th.
