‘Igbo believe in Jonathan’
Goodluck Jonathan (2010-present), Latest Politics, Presidency, South-East Tuesday, May 17th, 2011ENUGU – Igbo Youth Movement, IYM, said Tuesday, that despite the resentment from the people of the South-East geo-political zone over the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, the confidence of Ndigbo in the ability of President Goodluck Jonathan to adequately protect the interest of the zone remains unshaken.
President of the group, Evangelist Elliot Uko, who made this known in a statement issued in Enugu, also warned that bickerings and demands emanating from Igboland over sharing of political offices could get out of hand if not immediately contained.
