Zakari Biu
The Commissioner of Police, Zakari Biu, who handled the case of a Boko Haram suspect, Kabir Sokoto, will be dismissed, investigations have revealed.

Our correspondents learnt in Abuja on Wednesday that the five policemen, who accompanied  Sokoto to Abaji, would also face trial.

It was learnt that a committee, headed by the National Security Adviser, Gen. Andrew Azazi, made the recommendatios.

Sokoto, who was accused of being the mastermind of the bombing at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, on Christmas Day, escaped in Abaji, Abuja,  when he was being taken to his residence for search.
