Headlines, Lagos Tuesday, December 21st, 2010The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola has called on the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its political gladiators not to distract the country’s preparation for 2011 general elections with its zoning policy. Fashola who carpeted those involved in the zoning and rotational presidency palaver when the national executive of Ansar- Udeen Society of Nigeria paid him a courtesy visit said the debates generated by the controversy is unnecessary , wondering why they allowed zoning arrangement to replace developmental issues and other salient issues confronting the country.
“Zoning and rotational presidency will not feed our people, it will not create jobs. It is not anchored on competence. Question on national development are not being addressed.
