NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) — A body has been found in the search for a missing Naperville mother, police said.
Naperville police said a body was discovered Thursday at Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve matching the description of Olasinmibo “Sinmi'”Abosede.
As investigators say the more than two-week-long search for Abosede appears to have come to a tragic conclusion, the DuPage County Coroner is still working to identify the remains of the woman found.

A large police presence was seen in the area of the forest preserve Thursday. Chopper 7 was over the scene as police blocked off a grassy area.
A body was discovered in an area of tall grass, near a trail on the southwest corner of Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve.
Authorities say the clothing of the dead woman matched what Abosede was wearing when she was last seen.
“While we believe the individual to be Sinmi… the final confirmation will be made by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office,” a statement from officials read in part. “We are deeply saddened by this loss and extend our sincere condolences to the Abosede family.”
The heartbreaking discovery comes a little more than two weeks after the 46-year-old married mother of four disappeared while walking near her Naperville home. She had left behind her phone and other personal belongings.
Last Friday, her family pleaded for help in finding her.
“Her love, unwavering faith in God and devotion to our children have been the foundation of our family,” her husband Gbenga Abosede said Friday. “She’s a gem of a woman.”
Last week, law enforcement officers along with volunteers and search dogs scoured the Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve, but did not find Abosede.
“We’ve also conducted multiple canine tracks, drone operations, and ground searches, and we put out bulletins to police departments nationwide,” Naperville Police Department Cmdr. Rick Krakow said.
Days later, the tragic discovery happened in the forest preserve.
Investigators say at this time no foul play is suspected.
Messages left for Abosede’s family by ABC7 were not returned Thursday.
The DuPage County Coroner said the woman who was found has not been officially identified and no cause of death has been determined yet. An autopsy is planned for Friday.
