Xmas: Taraba senator donates 1,000 bags of rice

AS part of his magnanimity to people of the state, especially at this festivity period, the senator representing Taraba North senatorial zone, Dr Anthony George Manzo, on Thursday, distributed over 1,000 bags of rice to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) offices in the zone.

Performing the distribution exercise on behalf of the senator, the director general of his campaign organisation, Mr Africanus Vocks, charged beneficiaries to ensure proper sharing formula to party supporters.

According to him, the aim was to demonstrate his appreciation to party leaders and supporters, pointing out that there was no political interest attached.

He, however, commended party leaders in the state for exhibiting high sense of maturity in handling the affairs of the party in the state and assured them of the senator’s intention to visit them personally as soon as the ongoing PDP national screening in the zones was over.

Receiving the items on behalf of the state PDP chapter, the administration secretary, Alhaji Bello Bashir, thanked the senator’s campaign team for the gesture.

The secretary, who noted with delight the achievements of Senator Manzo in the Senate, charged him to be focused in the business of legislating. According to him, to whom much is given, much is also expected.wp_posts
