‘Buhari Must Watch His Words’

AS the war of words involving the Presidency and a former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, ahead 2015 rages, Arewa Youth Forum for Peace and Unity has described Buhari’s recent statement concerning 2015 as uncalled for.

Also, a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Engineer Muhammed Abba-Gana and chairman, National Council for Peace and Unity advised the country’s leaders to sincerely reflect on the present security challenge the country is passing through and refrain from all negative rhetoric and politics with bitterness.

While Engr Abba-Gana expressed concern over what he described as escalating crises arising from the negative rhetoric coming from the leaders, Arewa Youth Forum wondered how the former head of state intended to lead the country again through an undemocratic means.

Speaking in Abuja, Engr Abba-Gana cautioned the citizens against exhibiting their anger in newspapers or on fellow Nigerians, stating that a committee on peace and security would be set up where people could discuss their grievances.
