Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu currently receiving treatment at a London hospital is “remarkably stable”, a Nigerian official has said.
Mr Dozie Nwanna, Nigeria’s Ag. High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), who visited Ojukwu in the hospital, on Sunday, told the Europe Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria, on Wednesday, in London that, “there was remarkable improvement everyday on his health.”
The envoy, who said he was received by Ojukwu’s wife, Bianca, added that the former Biafran leader was much better than when he was brought in from Nigeria.
“The wife and members of his family who are with him were all in good spirit. Nigerians should continue to pray for his quick recovery,” Nwanna said.
Ojukwu was flown to London after spending three days in the intensive care unit of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital after suffering from a stroke.wp_posts
