Kaduna State House of Assembly on Wednesday threatened not to pass the 2012 budget presented by the executive if it was not satisfied with the performance of the 2011 budget.
The House Committee Chairman on Information, Mr. Yakubu Yusuf, expressed the view shortly after members of the assembly resumed plenary at the end of a one-month break.
Yusuf said the legislature would soon embark on oversight function of MDAs to assess the level of implementation of the 2011 budget before considering the next budget.
