Biu, five policemen to be dismissed, tried
Boko Haram, Headlines, Nigerian Police Wednesday, January 25th, 2012Our correspondents learnt in Abuja on Wednesday that the five policemen, who accompanied Sokoto to Abaji, would also face trial.
It was learnt that a committee, headed by the National Security Adviser, Gen. Andrew Azazi, made the recommendatios.
Sokoto, who was accused of being the mastermind of the bombing at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, on Christmas Day, escaped in Abaji, Abuja, when he was being taken to his residence for search.
