EFCC storms Ogun govt agency
EFCC Politics, Ogun, State News Wednesday, March 14th, 2012OPERATIVES of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, stormed the office of the Ogun State Property Investment Corporation (OPIC) and interrogated its officials.
The officials of the anti-graft agency arrived at the headquarters of the OPIC, at Oke-Ilewo area of Abeokuta, at about 11.00 a.m, in a Honda Space bus, with registration number Lagos DZ 706 GG, to investigate the activities of the agency in the last administration
The Managing Director of OPIC, Mr Kola Omobo and some top management members were among those interrogated by the EFCC.
The anti-graft agency, also on Monday, invited the Director, Lands and Survey, Mr Kunle Osota, to appear before it for clarification over some missing documents relating to land matters in the state.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that EFCC interrogated mainly those who served under the Gbenga Daniel-led administration.
