World Cup Qualifier: Eagles leave for Malawi on Thursday

The Super Eagles will fly out to Malawi on Thursday aboard a chartered flight for Saturday’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Flames.
It will be the second group match for both teams after Malawi drew goalless with Kenya and Nigeria defeated Namibia 1-0 on Sunday.
The Nigeria Football Federation said on Tuesday that the Eagles will arrive in Blantyre on Friday morning and have a training session in the evening on the artificial turf of the Kamuzu Stadium.
The Eagles had immediately after their victory over Namibia returned to Abuja to train on the artificial turf of the FIFA Technical Centre’s facility at the National Stadium.
Saturday’s match at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre will start at 2.30pm Malawi time (1.30pm Nigeria time) and will be refereed by officials from Mauritius.
