Presidency denies rift between Okonjo-Iweala, Alison-Maduekwe
Goodluck Jonathan (2010-present), Presidency, Women Politics Thursday, November 29th, 2012THE presidency has cleared the air over the rumoured disagreement between the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and her Petroleum Resources counterpart, Mrs Deziani Alison-Maduekwe, over unpaid petroleum subsidy claims.
The presidential spokesman, Dr Reuben Abati, in Abuja on Wednesday, denied knowledge of such disagreement, as he told State House correspondents that such reports were speculative.
He, therefore, advised the media to refrain from publishing them.
