Seattle Sounders declare Obagoal missing
Headlines Thursday, August 22nd, 2013Major League Soccer side, Seattle Sounders,is waiting for Nigerian striker, Obafemi Martins to return to training after taking a short leave of absence, following his injury.
The forward, who is recovering from a sprained ankle, was expected back in training on Tuesday.He had been excused to take care of some family-related matters over the weekend.
The latest update now was that Martins should be back Wednesday. “He was supposed to be here today (Tuesday). He’s missed practice today. … It’s one missed practice.
Martins is the second Nigerian player to be declared missing, after Victor Moses was also declared wanted by Jose Mourinho following his outing with the Super Eagles.
