We ‘ll deal ruthlessly with anyone caught in vote-buying -Bauchi police command

The Bauchi State police command has warned that anybody caught in vote-buying during the elections in the state will be ruthlessly death with.
The state Police Commission, Ali A.Janga, who gave the warning at Baba Sidi Primary school polling centre while inspecting the conduct of the election in the state, said that so far, the election was going on smoothly.
Janga said that police and other security agencies would ensure neutrality and impartiality, but warned that vote-buying would be checked at the polling units.
He assured that the police had developed a strategy that would check the menace at the polling units during elections.
“I can assure you that those involved in vote buying would be arrested during the elections. We have made plans to arrest such persons.
“All the security in the state are working as one and our personnel would be punctual at their duty posts to make sure that the election are held as expected under peaceful atmosphere”
So far, we have over 4,000 police officers that have been deployed across the 20 local government area of the state to ensure that the exercise is hitch free. We are not going to be partisan because we don’t have anybody or any political party in mind,” Janga said
He charged the electorate to be law-abiding so that there would be no unnecessary wrangling.
