NBC fines Nigeria Info for hate speech

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and Acting Director-General of NBC, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba at the unveiling of new amendment to the 6th Edition of the Broadcasting Code in Lagos on Tuesday.

The Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has fined Nigeria Info 99.3FM Lagos the sum of N5 million.
This was for providing its platform to be used to promote unverifiable and inciting views that can incite crime, public disorder.
