I will accept result of Presidential election- Shekarau

The presidential candidate of All Nigeria Peoples Party(ANPP) Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has declared to accept the likely outcome of the Presidential election in as far as it certifies that the whole process was free and fair.
“I will accept the result of the election as long as the process is free and fair, and I will also counsel others to do same”, Shekarau stated.
Malam Ibrahim Shekarau spoke to Reporters in Kano shortly after casting his vote at Giginyu ward in Nassarawa local Government of the state and further admonished other candidates to do same in the interest of the Nation.
The ANPP standard bearer explains that Nigerians will not hesitate to accept the outcome of the election in as long as they are convinced that there was transparency and that the entire process was free, fair and credible.
Malam Shekarau who is the outgoing Governor of Kano state expressed confidence that the Jega-led INEC understands the stake and will not let down Nigerians.
The ANPP Presidential candidate stressed that “It is normal in any election where two or three people contested to expect that a winner and a loser must emerge”.
Malam Shekarau further noted that “I am impressed with the turn-out of voters from the report we have received across the state and we pray for a peaceful voting”.wp_posts
