Kano: Mohammed Abacha appeals

The son of the late Head of State General Sani Abacha, Mohammed, on has asked the Supreme Court to stay the judgment of the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal which invalidated his nomination as the Kano State governorship candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change.
In a notice of Appeal by his lawyer, Mr. Abdullahi Haruna, made available to journalists on Thursday, Abacha is contending that the appellate court erred in law in concluding that the primary that produced him was inconclusive.
