INDUSTRIALISTS and business associations from various sector of the economy will converge tomorrow in Lagos for the annual Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria(CICAN) Awards ceremony tagged ‘ Crystal Nite of Excellence.’

On the roll calls are the Olofa of Offa ,Oba Mohammed Okikiola Gbadamosi, Africa’s richest man-Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Lafarge WAPCO PLC. Others are the Chairman of the BUA Group, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Senator Jubril Martins-Kuye including the President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Chief Kola Jamodu, the Chairman, Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Mazi Sam Ohunabunwa and the Director General, Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), Dr Joseph Odumodu, Chief K.A Adebutu of the Premier Lottery fame, Dufil Prima Foods Limited, Ayoola Foods limited and Oando PLC.

According to a statement from CICAN, the one day forum, with the theme : “Promoting Commerce and Industry for the actualisation of vision 2020, has the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as the Guest Speaker.

“Sanusi would speak on “Nigeria’s De-industrialisation Trend: The Way Forward.”
