International man-hunt for Boko Haram sponsors

Security agencies in the country are forging an alliance with security agencies in selected Western and Middle-East countries to unravel the wave of bombing in the country, it was learnt yesterday.
The collaborative effort is directed towards unveiling the source of the ammunitions and the persons behind the bombings.
The disclosure of the international collaboration follows last Thursday’s bombing of the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja.
The international collaboration would specifically be directed towards revealing the direct masterminds of the bombing of the police headquarters.
American and Saudi intelligence with their expertise and experience in counter-terrorism operations were specifically mentioned among the international coalition against the local terrorists operating in Nigeria, one source revealed yesterday.
It was being believed in Abuja that international terrorist groups such as Al Queda may be trying to infiltrate the country through the Boko Haram Islamic sect that has allegedly been behind most of the bombings across many parts of the North.
The same sect has allegedly claimed responsibility for the bombing of the Force headquarters.
The increasing sophistication of the bombing operations it was learnt may have convinced local intelligence to the involvement of foreign nationals from hotbeds of Islamic militancy in Africa and the Middle-East. That factor it was further gathered may have prompted the need for the international collaboration.
