African Cup Qualifier: Nigeria almost spelt Sao Tome and Principe with a 10-0 defeat
Headlines, Soccer, Sports Monday, June 13th, 2022(NNP) The Super Eagles today decimated the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe in the ongoing African Nations Cup qualifier. The match which took place in Sao Tome and Principe, saw Eagles’ goal poacher Victor Osimhen, opening the scoring in the 9th minute and scoring three more times in the 48, 65, and 84th minutes. Moses Simon added to the tally in the 28th minutes with Mofti getting into the mix in the 43rd and 60th minutes. Eagles’ regular Etebo, entered the register in the 55th minute and England-based Lookman scored in the 63rd minute, while Emmanuel Dennis completed the decimation with a penalty in the second minute of extra time. A few days earlier, the Eagles defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja in another qualifier.
