Australian State of Victoria hit with Magnitude 6.0 earthquake

(NNP) A massive earthquake of 6.0 magnitude has struck the southern Australian state of Victoria on Wednesday,  with the epicentre near Mansfield, a town not far from Melbourne. The Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) stated in a tweet, “A magnitude 6.0 #Earthquake has occurred with an epicentre near Mansfield in Victoria,” the tweet from VICSES News read, calling on citizens to “please be patient as lines may be busy.” There is no information on casualties or the extent of damage.
