Breaking News: Boko Haram attacks SARS police HQ in Abuja

Gunmen believed to be members of the deadly Islamic Boko Haram
insurgents have attacked the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)
headquarters in Abuja in a bid to free their members detained in the
building.

Reports say two policemen were killed in the gun battle and some
detainees were freed.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) headquarters in Abuja is
heavily secured because of high profile criminals and suspects that
are being detained in the building.

With the heightened security in Abuja especially at police and
military formations, many are wondering how Boko Haram
insurgents attack security targets unabated.

Just less than 24 hours there was a suicide attack on Jaji Military
cantonment in Kaduna, in Northern part of Nigeria where eleven
people reportedly died.

The group has claimed responsibility for the killings of thousands of
Nigerians both in Abuja and other parts of the country since they
began their insurgency.
