ASABA—ANGLICAN Bishop of Western Izon Diocese,Delta State, Rt. Rev. Edafe Emamezi, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to extend the anti- graft crusade in the country to all corrupt past political office holders that are alive for it to yield the desired result.
Speaking in his homily, yesterday at the diocesan headquarters in Patani, Patani Local Government Area, Delta State, the cleric stressed the need for Nigerians to support the anti-corruption crusade.
He, however, said that the campaign should cover all corrupt politicians who are still alive.
“The love of money and power are the things that are dividing Nigeria,” Emamezi said.
He urged Nigerians to put aside their ethno-religious differences and imbibe the spirit of reconciliation in order for them to be united.
He said, “Nigerians should use this occasion of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ to be on the part of unity through forgiveness and reconstruction.‘’
