COVID-19: NDDC Director of Finance dies after having difficulty breathing, headquarters shutdown

Chief Ibanga Bassey Etang, the acting Director of Finance and Accounts of the Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC), is dead.
He allegedly took ill and gasping for breath at about 2 am Thursday before being rushed to the hospital.
He was reported to have died at the Braithwaite Memorial Hospital (BMH), in Port Harcourt.
According to multiple reports, the cause of death is yet to be determined.
DAILY INDEPENDENT, however, reported that his body has been moved to the holding area, called ‘COVID Area’ at the hospital, with the intention of taking his samples for a coronavirus test.
His death came days after President Buhari ordered a Forensic Audit of NDDC.
