A special Adviser and private secretary to Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo state,
South South Nigeria, has been killed by unknown gunmen.
Reports say four gun men stormed the house of Mr Olaitan Oyerinde at Ugbor
GRA, Benin and scaled the fence then brutally shot him dead.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Mr Etim Bassey, told
News Agency of Nigeria that they are still “gathering facts about the alleged
killing.’’
African Examiner’s text messages to the governor’s aide over the incident were
not replied.
Recall that only recently the Governor himself escaped death by a whisker as
heavy duty truck ran into his convoy after he has just received some PDP
members who decamped to his ruling Action Congress of Nigeria, A C N.
Three journalists lost their lives in the truck attack.
