Letter: Let Abati be
Headlines, Letters Monday, August 6th, 2012I have just finished reading Sabella Abidde’s “Abati should consider resigning his appointment”, published in The PUNCH, Wednesday, August, 1. It was a fine piece though but missed the point by the suggestion for Abati to resign his appointment with President Goodluck Jonathan. Journalism especially as obtained in the private media here in Nigeria is non pensionable. An opportunity like the one Abati has, is what thousands of journalists would do anything to have. Please, let Abati enjoy the perks as long as it lasts.
