Okorocha reassures on ‘rescue’ agenda
All People Grand Alliance (APGA), Headlines, Imo, State News Monday, May 23rd, 2011The governor-elect of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo Chief Rochas Okorocha, Monday reassured people of the state of his commitment toward achieving the Rescue Mission Agenda (RMA) which was his campaign manifesto.
Okorocha told newsmen at a news conference in Owerri that his four-year administration would fight to eradicate poverty and unemployment in the state.
He also noted that at the end of his administration, kidnapping and prostitution would have been a thing of the past, adding that it was only a careless regime that would condone such illegal activities in the state.
The governor-elect maintained that his administration would create enabling environment for investors, pointing out that such arrangement would help to eliminate unemployment in the state.
Okorocha, however, pleaded for people of the state to be patient and to be positive minded toward his promises, pointing out that it would take time to transform the state.
He also urged politicians in the state and traditional rulers to help in achieving his agenda for the state, adding that he was ready to work with any politician who meant well to the state.
