Policeman dies in Kaduna bomb blast
Headlines, Kaduna, State News Tuesday, February 14th, 2012A policeman attached to the anti-bomb squad was on Tuesday morning killed in a bomb blast in Kaduna.
The bomb, which was hidden in a parcel tied to a streetlight pole by the pedestrian bridge near Sultan Bello mosque at Angwan Sarki area, shook parts of the city.
The police anti-bomb squad was reportedly drawn to the parcel. But when the policeman tried to detonate the suspicious package, it exploded and killed him.
His dismembered remains were scatered around the scene.
