Madagascar’s COVID-Organics, the herbal cure for coronavirus is on his way to Nigeria.
The presidential task force on COVID-19 today announced that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the body to test out the herbal mixture.
Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation, who also heads the task force announced this today at the daily briefing of the task force.
He said Madagascar donated some of the products to Nigeria through Guinea-Bissau and arrangements were being made to pick them up.
Mustapha said the president directed that the products be validated before usage.
Senegal has also reportedly ordered for the herbal drink.
And recently South Africa also said it is testing the mixture to ascertain its efficacy.
Madagsascar President Rajoelina launched the product last month in Antananarivo.
He touted it as a cure for the COVID-19.
So far, the country has reported 193 cases of the coronavirus, with 101 recoveries.
There has been no fatality reported by the country.
