Trump says he will leave office if Electoral College confirms Biden’s win
American Politics, Headlines, NNP News Friday, November 27th, 2020(NNP) President Donald Trump in speaking with reporters today stated that he would leave office if the Electoral College confirms Joe Biden’s win. The Electoral College is scheduled to meet on December 14. In spite of the overwhelming fact that Biden won the election by a landslide, Trump still insist he won by “a lot” and has filed a swat of lawsuits to overturn the results. All his lawsuits have been dismissed as baseless.
Trump responded to a reporter who asked if he would vacate office if the Electoral College confirms Biden, he responded, “Certainly, I will. Certainly, I will. And you know that,” Trump said. Biden will take office on January 20th.
