Video of ailing Akeredolu emerges on his 67th birthday

By Olugbenga IgeA video of ailing Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has surfaced online on the occasion of his 67th birthday. Naija News reports that Governor Akeredolu has been absent from the state since June 7, 2023, when he embarked on a medical leave abroad. The medical leave has been indefinitely extended by the State House of Assembly and in Akeredolu’s absence, Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is fulfilling the role of acting Governor until he returns. However, in a video seen by our correspondent on Friday, the governor was seen celebrating his birthday with family and loved ones at an undisclosed hospital in Germany. Also, the lawmaker representing Owo Constituency in the state Assembly, Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi was seen in the video celebrating with the Ondo governor. See the video below. -NaijaNews
