Mob set robbery suspects ablaze in Warri
Delta, Headlines, State News Friday, July 1st, 2011Two suspected robbers were burnt to death, Thursday, by a mob, made up of commercial motorcyclists, popularly called okada riders along Airport Road Effurun, Warri.
The robbers, operating on a motor bike, snatched an unspecified amount of money from a customer who just came out from the Oceanic Bank branch, behind Total filling station, at Airport Road, Effurun area of the town.
However, luck ran out on them as some okada riders gave them a hot chase and eventualy caught up with them.
Without wasting time, the money was retrieved and given to the owner, before the robbers and their bike were set ablaze.
