MASSOB celebrates Ojukwu’s recovery

Over 10,000 members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) attended a special thanksgiving service for Chief Dim Emeka Ojukwu’s recovery after months of protracted illness.

The thanksgiving, which turned out to be a carnival of sort, was held at Onitsha, while members and administrators of MASSOB within its various regions in the country were in attendance.

Chief Arinze Igbani, Regional Administrator of MASSOB in Onitsha, said the thanksgiving was necessary to celebrate Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu’s recovery and put a stop to the speculation that the Biafran struggle was over with Ojukwu’s absence.

“Today, our visionary leader, Chief Dim Ojukwu, the Ikemba of Igboland, is alive and hale and hearty and the grace of God on him has brought shame to those who think the struggle is over.

“One thing I know is that our leader survived for a special purpose, which is to champion this great visionary struggle to its logical conclusion.
