No more hawking in petrol stations, FCT minister warns
Abuja (FCT), State News Sunday, January 29th, 2012THE Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has threatened to seal off any petrol station in the territory that allows hawking around its premises.
FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, said this at the weekend, adding that the measure had become imperative to improve both security and environment of Abuja.
Besides, he said hawkers loitering around the petrol stations constituted an eyesore, adding that there was the need for owners to assist the FCTA in improving the beauty of The minister also directed FCT transportation secretariat to tackle traffic crisis in the territory, while he restated that motorcycle operation in authorised routes remained banned.
