Kaduna ministry director mistaken for Boko Haram terrorist dies of gun shot wounds
Kaduna, Latest Politics, State News Monday, February 20th, 2012THE Director of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Information, Kaduna State, Pastor Isua Kiforo, who was shot by armed soldiers and police who mistook him for a Boko Haram suspect at the Government House, Kaduna, last week has died.
Pastor Kiforo was said to have died on Sunday morning, after an operation described as successful was conducted on him on Friday at the 44 Military Reference Hospital, Kaduna.
The state Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Saidu Adamu, confirmed the death of Pastor Kiforo, describing it as “shocking and unfortunate.”
Meanwhile, Sources at the family residence said the late Kiforo, who hails from Zangon Kataf area of South Kaduna, would be buried on Thursday.
