WAWA Nigeria urges support for regional women intergration
Women Politics Friday, April 6th, 2012The head of WAWA Nigeria and founder of Women Care Association of Nigeria (WOCAN), Mrs Beatrice O. Ubeku, has thanked all members of the regional governing body and other members of the group for the recently concluded annual meeting.
Ubeku who is the the chairman of the Board in Nigeria reiterated her commitment to the organisation’s aims and objectives of raising the living standard of its people in order to ensure economic growth.
“I take this opportunity to renew my commitments and thank all who have helped so much to make our organisational specific goals in the ECOWAS region, more credible and more effective, particularly the Regional Head – Hon. Madam Khady Tall Fall whose motivational strengths energised the sluggish chapters into a reality with much needed contributions from countries Presidents.”
Ubeku while also thanking the immediate past chairman of the governing body, Dr. Mme Toukourou Moutiatou- (Benin President) among others urged continued support that will engender women participation in the regional economic integration.
