The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has assured the international community that Nigeria will soon join the league of industrialized nations “as the country has the necessary potentials including both human and material resources to achieve this goal.”
Prince Oyinlola who gave this assurance in the United States yesterday said his optimism was premised on non-negotiable values of commitment, dedication and patriotism on the part of the current leaders of Nigeria whom he said have continuously strategized for more productive ways to make the nation more viable and productive.
The National Secretary of the PDP who was honoured with the Leadership Valiant Award by the United States National Conference of Black Mayors at its 38th Annual Conference said the critical policy thrust of the Goodluck Jonathan administration “is to maximise the benefits derivable by the citizenry from governance through more effective and efficient use of public resources, proper financial management and fiscal prudence.”
Oyinlola dedicated the award, which was the highest conferred by the Conference of Black Mayors to the Peoples Democratic Party which he said provided the platform for him to realize his political ambition.
