El-Rufai warns PDP against rigging of election

Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and chieftain of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, on Wednesday, warned again that there would be serious consequences should the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rig the 2015 elections.

He observed that Nigerians, this time round, would not allow them to occupy offices illegally without any resistance.

Mallam Rufai, who delivered a keynote address entitled:“13 years of civil rule:Few gains, many pains” at the opening of the 2012 Law Week

of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Warri branch said Nigerians would not allow them to enjoy the fruits of their electoral fraud adding that “enough is enough.”

Represented by Chief (Dr) Ayuba Giwa, Mallam El Rufai sent similar warnings to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as well as security agencies who he described as partners of the ruling party in electoral fraud.
