200,000 Nigerians scramble for EFCC’s 750 cadet jobs
EFCC Politics, Headlines Tuesday, November 8th, 2016…as EFCC denies exercise skewed in North’s favour, marred by godfatherism Soni Daniel No fewer than 200,000 jobless Nigerians have so far applied for 750 positions advertised by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for recruitment as Detectives and Detective Assistants. But the exercise, which is ongoing at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Mando in Kaduna State, has been dogged by allegations of favouritism and lopsidedness in favour of the northern part of the country. However, the EFCC, Tuesday night, denied the allegation, saying that it was being conducted in line with due process and in strict conformity with Federal Character principle, which requires each state of the federation to be fairly represented.
