Following fresh revelation that President Donald Trump asked James Comey to end the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, a request documented in a memo written by the former FBI director, according to sources familiar with the matter, there are fears that the American leader faces impeachment process.

The latest revelation had revealed that the president demanded “I hope you can let this go,” Comey wrote, quoting Trump in the document.

This idea is said to be Obstruction of Justice in the American system of government and considered a ‘serious impeachable offence’.
