President Trump loses younger brother
American Politics, Headlines, NNP News Sunday, August 16th, 2020(NNP) President Donald J. Trump announced on Twitter the passing of his brother, Robert Trump at the age of 71. The younger Trump was in intensive care in New York in June for an undisclosed illness. The president’s tweet stated, “It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”
President Trump visited his brother on Friday in the hospital after he was informed by the White House that he was gravely ill. Robert Trump in June sued his niece, Mary Trump, to stop the publication of her tell-all book. A judge eventually allowed the publisher to release the book after initially imposing an injunction.
